Academic Matters
ISB Secondary Curriculum
Our school vision is at the core of our curriculum. We seek to ensure that every student excels. We aim for every student to be successful, grow in confidence and develop into a internationally-minded global citizen.

The ISB curriculum is a continuum. We seek to support students on their academic and personal journey from Early Years to Pre-U and university. We seek to build on students knowledge, understanding and skills across and through all subject areas.

In order to do this, we provide a curriculum that
-
is broad and balanced so that provides a range of opportunities for learning and can support different needs and interests
-
builds on knowledge and understanding from year to year and key stage to key stage
-
develops students key functional skills of literacy, numeracy and ICT
-
focuses on developing students personal, learning and thinking skills linked to the I(S)B Profile such as being more open minded, reflective and courageous as well as developing skills in communication, inquiry and critical and creative thinking.
