Key notices

 

Attendance & Punctuality

·   We are pleased to see improvements in overall punctuality to 7.15am registration

·  To further improve this, we will be closely monitoring your child’s punctuality from next week onwards and contacting you for any concerns. We will also be putting interventions in place to benefit students.

· Students should always check their school records on: Edulink – Attendance - Statutory Academic Year.

 

Medical requirements

· We need to keep track of the illnesses going around the school to look after everyone’s well being

· Medical certificates should be sent to the school Nurse; Nurse@ac.isb.edu.bn and Secondary Pastoral Admin; pastoralcommunity@ac.isb.edu.bn for notifying the child’s absence to school.

 

Uniform:

· Students are expected to always be in full school uniform, except during PE and Performing Arts lessons where they will be in PE kit.

· On PE days, students should come to school in PE kit and change into uniform straight after PE. Your child’s PE and Performing Arts teachers allocate sufficient time for students to change for lessons. 

 

Y11 Study Leave Arrangement:

· When exam students are on the school site, they are expected to be in full school uniform and to maintain their usual school conduct (no mobile phone usage during the school day).

·  Non-resident exam students may use the back security gate to walk-on/off the school site between the hours of 7.45am-1.30pm. Outside of these hours, students must be dropped off/collected by parents/guardians in a vehicle.

· Exam students must show their exam pass to the back security guard to walk-on/off.

 

Devices (laptops, tablets, mobile phones, earpieces, headphones, smart watches, etc); 

· Students are not allowed to use any devices unless instructed and permitted by teachers during lessons.

· For any misuse of devices, staff will collect and store devices in the Secondary Office until 2.10pm. 

· Your child may use the phone in the Secondary Office if they need to contact you urgently during the school day. Similarly, you can contact us (Tel: 2330608 ext. 555) if you need any assistance. 

·  Please find ‘Mobile Policy Assembly’ for your further reference.

 

Meal Order and Upcoming: 

· The meal order for next week (18 Jun – 21 Jun 2024) is open and available on the Secondary in the Loop - https://secadminmgr.wixsite.com/intheloop

· As part of our ongoing green initiatives, our school canteen is excited to introduce the "Bring Your Own Cup" initiative. By doing so, you help uphold our school's eco-friendly standards and, as a thank you, you'll receive a free mini cookie!
