The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a 2-year programme for Year 12 and Year 13 students. It is academically and personally challenging which develops a breadth of knowledge and skills. ISB graduates gain entry to top universities all over the world, studying a wide range of degrees and preparing for a myriad of careers.

The IB Diploma Programme has a number of advantages over A Levels – students study a broader range of subjects, selecting one subject from each group. Students are also required to develop their critical thinking skills through the study of Theory of Knowledge. All Diploma students are expected to complete a piece of academic research known as the Extended Essay – this essay helps students to develop skills that they will need at university. Finally, all IB Diploma Programme students complete Creative Active Service (CAS) – meaning all students have the opportunity to engage in extra-curricular activities, leadership events and community service projects as part of their course.
